What is Arduino Uno Board?

Arduino is an open-source electronics platform, based on easy hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read the input - a light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board. To do this you use the Arduino programming language (based on wiring), and the Arduino software (IDE), depending on the resource.

Why Arduino Uno Board?

The Arduino Uno Board program is easy to use for beginners, but flexible enough for advanced users. It works on Mac, Windows and Linux systems. Educators and students use it to build low-cost scientific tools, to demonstrate principles of chemistry and physics, or to start programming and robotics. Designers and architects build interactive prototypes, and musicians and artists use them for installations and experimenting with new musical instruments. Makers use it, of course, to build many of the projects featured in Maker Faire, for example. Arduino is an essential tool for learning new things.
